Thanksgiving

Hooray for cousins!  Silas and Margaret had plenty of fun with Jack and Abby at Pop Pop and Grandma's house.

Happy Halloween

First day of school

A last-days-of-summer post is still to come.  No sooner had we returned from the beach, when a hurricane came and pushed into a new school year, where we remain firmly planted.

Underwater

These are pictures and video from our first use of our new waterproof camera case. So much fun. I particularly love the stills because they capture important things about the seconds that make up relatively frantic minutes. When you watch the videos, it's fun and you can see fun things are happening. But even for me - and I was there when it happened - only when looking at the stills do I see the bubbles, Silas' palm on the pool bottom, and the depth of both kids' determination to tackle this adventure.
